PLMJ stands out once again in Iberian Lawyer's Forty under 40 awards with 38 nominations

PLMJ has once again received wide recognition at the Iberian Lawyer - Forty under 40 awards with 38 nominations, which is two more than last year.

The prestigious awards recognise the best lawyers under the age of 40 on the Iberian Peninsula and, this year PLMJ has 19 nominated lawyers and 19 of the firm's practice areas are also on the shortlist.

The shortlisted lawyers are Alexandre Norinho de Oliveira, André Abrantes, Catarina Guedes de Carvalho, Carla Gois Coelho, Dinis Tracana, Dirce Rente, Guilherme Seabra Galante, Joana Baeta Vieira, João Dias Lopes, João Marques Mendes, Mariana Paiva, Maria Zagallo, Martim Valente, Marta Areias Salgado, Tomás Almeida Ribeiro, Teresa Madeira Afonso, Sofia Coutinho, Rute Alves and Sérgio Teixeira.

PLMJ's practice areas selected by the Iberian Lawyer are Arbitration, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Energy, EU and Competition, Infrastructure and Construction, Insolvency and Restructuring, Insurance, IP/TMT, Labour, Life Sciences and Pharma, Litigation, M&A, Private Equity, Public Law, Real Estate, Startup, Tax, White Collar Crime, Fintech and Startup.

The award winners will be announced on 23 September at a ceremony in Madrid and the final decision will be made by a jury composed of general counsels and heads of legal from Portugal and Spain.
