PLMJ – Law Firm is pleased to announce the arrival of Bruno Ferreira at its Lisbon office. The new partner joins PLMJ from Garrigues to strengthen the finance team, which handles the areas of banking, finance and capital markets at PLMJ, and is coordinated by Hugo Rosa Ferreira and Andre Figueiredo. This team has been involved in the most important transactions that have taken place in Portugal in recent years. These transactions include the sale of Barclays’ Portuguese retail business, the BES resolution and advising the senior creditors of Novo Banco, including Blackrock and Pimco. The team has also handled numerous debt issues for PSI 20 companies and the Portuguese Republic.
Bruno Ferreira has proven experience of more than 14 years in advising clients from the finance, banking and capital market sectors, where he has been handled operations involving, among others, Haitong Bank, AnaCap Financial Partners and Arrow Global.
The new PLMJ partner has a scientific master’s in banking and finance law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FDUL). He is also the author of numerous articles for books and reviews on banking, corporate and securities law.
