PLMJ strengthens its international projects practice with the arrival of Abel de Barbosa Mendonça

PLMJ has recently strengthened its international projects team with the arrival of senior associate Abel de Barbosa Mendonça. Abel specialises in cross-border energy and oil and gas transactions and arrives from a law firm where he focused on both these areas.

PLMJ’s new senior associate has a solid academic background having attended a postgraduate course in tax law and a course of specialisation in international petroleum transactions.

The international projects team is headed jointly by partners Luís Sáragga Leal and Sofia Gomes da Costa and is made up of a team of lawyers with excellent technical skills who specialise in international financial law and cross-border corporate transactions. The team has extensive experience as a result of its involvement in a number of major transactions including the largest real estate deal in Portugal in recent years.
