PLMJ has strengthened its telecoms, media and technology (TMT) by hiring lawyer Inês de Castro Ruivo and promoting Juliana Marcondes to associate.
For Daniel Reis, the partner who heads the TMT practice, “The increasing volume of work we have been seeing as well as well as the positive prospects we see in the medium term in the TMT sector justify growing our team and reflect PLMJ’s continued focus on this area.”
Inês de Castro Ruivo has a law degree and a postgraduate qualification in intellectual property law, both from the University of Lisbon.
With a law degree from Universidade Federal do Paraná, Juliana Marcondes is admitted to the Brazilian and Portuguese Bar Associations and is licensed to practise law in both countries. She joined PLMJ as a trainee lawyer in February 2014 but had previously worked as a lawyer in two Brazilian law firms, Katzwinkel & Advogados Associados and Martinelli Advocacia Empresarial.
