PLMJ succeeds to obtain the first court order to forbid the acess to a blog in Portugal

The PLMJ team specialized in IP, Computer Law and E-Commerce, headed by Equity Partner Manuel Lopes Rocha, was responsible for the innovating decision proffered by the Civil Court of Lisbon determining Google Inc and Google Portugal to prevent the access to the blog entitled “Póvoa Online” following a restraint proceedings requested  within a defamation  law suit presented by the Póvoa do Varzim Municipality.

The fact that, for the first time in Portugal, a Court decides to restrain the access to a blog constitutes an important and innovating achievement  for PLMJ' s legal practice.
