The 1st Construction Law Congress is organised by Almedina and coordinated by Diogo Duarte Campos, head partner, and Joana Brandão, managing associate from PLMJ's Public Law team.
The congress will debate the most important issues facing the construction industry and it is particularly timely as the industry is facing enormous challenges in adapting to the new market circumstances. These challenges include the availability of labour and fluctuations in the price of materials. The construction industry also plays a particularly important role in the country's recovery, with major investments expected to be made to implement the Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan, whether in railways, in the port sector or in housing, given the shortage of housing supply.
The congress is scheduled for 10 and 11 March at the Altis Grand Hotel.
