PLMJ tops the Chambers Global 2025 rankings

In Chambers Global 2025, PLMJ has been ranked in Band 1 in all areas covered by the directory and the firm has received a total of 26 individual nominations.

The areas analysed by Chambers Global in which PLMJ has now been recommended by Chambers are Capital Markets, Banking and Finance, Corporate M&A, Dispute Resolution and Projects.

In the individual rankings, PLMJ received 26 recommendations. We highlight the promotion of partner Joaquim Shearman de Macedo (Dispute Resolution) to Band 1 and the new entries of lawyers in Chambers Global: Maria Zagallo and Joana Brandão (Projects), Pedro Siza Vieira (Banking and Finance), Raquel Azevedo (Capital Markets), Bárbara Godinho Correia and Tomás Almeida Ribeiro (Corporate M&A), Rute Marques (Dispute Resolution).

In the analysis of international partnerships, we highlight the entry of PLMJ Colab Angola - RVA Advogados partner Renata Valenti in the individual ranking. The Luanda office maintained its ranking (Band 3) and the PLMJ desks in Angola and Mozambique were also recognised by Chambers (Band 2).
