PLMJ has just won the Client Service Law Firm of the Year award at the Chambers Europe Awards 2018, in recognition of the quality of service it provides to its clients. According to Chambers and Partners, which hands out these awards, PLMJ's clients identified the firm's capacity to understand its clients, its business-orientated mentality, its commercial drive, and its common sense. Besides these principal characteristics of the firm's service, which set it apart in the market, clients also highlighted the permanent availability of PLMJ's lawyers.
Also shortlisted for the Portuguese Law Firm of the Year, the “lient Service Law Firm of the Year award was given last Friday by this prestigious international directory at a ceremony in Madrid, which was attended by PLMJ partners Luís Pais Antunes, Paulo Farinha Alves and Nuno Cunha Barnabé
For PLMJ managing partner, Luís Pais Antunes, “Among the many awards we have received over the years, this is perhaps the one that we are most proud of, because it represents recognition of what has been the primary and principal objective of PLMJ's lawyers for the last 50: our focus on our clients and a solid defence of their rights and interests”.
In an overall analysis of this year's rankings published in March, PLMJ was once again recognised in 20 out of the total of 21 areas analysed. PLMJ achieved Band One in 11 areas, with 58 lawyers earning individual recognition, and, among Portuguese law firms, PLMJ is the one that has most professionals in the top bands (Bands 1 and 2, together with Senior Statesmen, Star Individuals and Eminent Practitioners). The firm has a total of 33 lawyers in these categories.
The aim of the Chambers Europe Awards is to recognise law firms that have stood out in legal practice. It is based on the operations that marked the past year, on strategic growth and on the excellence of client services. Chambers is one of the oldest companies that evaluates the world's legal services market.
