PLMJ's Angola and Mozambique offices - GLA and TTA - featured in the Chambers Global 2016 rankings

GLA and TTA, PLMJ's offices in Angola and Mozambique, are the only partners of a Portuguese law firm - PLMJ - to appear in the Chambers Global 2016 rankings. TTA remains in Band 2 and GLA in Band 3.

Chambers Global 2016 also recognises Tomás Timbane, the partner who heads TTA, for Dispute Resolution in Band 1. He remains in Band 3 for General Business Law. 

PLMJ partner Inês Pinto da Costa is, for the first time, named Foreign Expert for Angola in the General Business Law category, and Manuel Spínola, the partner who heads PLMJ's Mozambique Desk maintains his ranking as a Foreign Expert in the General Business Law category for Mozambique.

The Chambers Global directory, which evaluates business law firms in more than 180 countries, analyses six practice areas from the perspective of cross-border transactions. It also looks at the internationalisation strategies of the law firms it evaluates.
