The legal advice involved a large multidisciplinary team from PLMJ, which carried out due diligence processes in respect of some of Akuo’s projects.The team also advised on issues relating to the regulatory and transactional framework, and to the contracting of W&I insurance.
The team was led by Diogo Perestrelo, partner and co-head of the Corporate M&A practice at PLMJ. His team included João Marques Mendes, partner responsible for the Energy practice at PLMJ, and lawyers Nuno Serrão Faria and David Cuba Topete (Corporate M&A), Sofia Nogueira Leite (Real Estate and Tourism) and Maria Gorjão Henriques (Public Law).
