PLMJ managing partner, Luís Sáragga Leal, was interviewed by the Lusa Agency’s correspondent in Beijing on the works planned for the Port of Sines which are giving rise to “great interest” in China, a country whose state companies have “unbeatable lines of credit”, said PLMJ founding partner Sáragga Leal. “There is strong interest in the new terminal and the logistical park already planned by the management of the Port of Sines”, Sáragga Leal pointed out while taking stock, for the first time, of ten days of contacts with dozens of Chinese companies in Beijing. These statements were published by Lusa and reproduced in a number of editions of the online press. Sáragga Leal, began his journey to China with the objective of formalising and strengthening the local partnership with Dacheng, China’s leading law firm, and establishing contacts with investors and large Chinese groups, some that already have investments in Portugal, other with a strong interest in investing in our country, but also in  Angola and Mozambique. All these efforts are part of the push to strengthen PLMJ International Legal Network, with a special focus on the link with Portuguese-speaking countries. This roadshow took in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and included a stay in Macau where PLMJ has a long standing partnership with the firm DSL Lawyers.
