Tax practice area works with Jornal de Notícias to analyse the impact of tax increases on families

PLMJ’s tax practice area analysed the calculation of the impact of tax increases using the income and expenses of a real family for the newspaper Jornal de Notícias.

PLMJ’s tax experts, João Magalhães Ramalho and Mónica Respício Gonçalves, concluded that between the decrease in salaries and the increase in taxes, a family can expect a fall in their purchasing power of €261 at the end of this year. This does not take into account the probable increase in mortgage interest rates.
