These days, the use of technology is an inescapable fact. For PLMJ, the level of demand and sophistication of its clients has led the firm to constantly evolve to meet their needs and seek to work together with clients to develop alternative solutions.
In a special report published by the newspaper Económico on innovation and technology in the legal sector, Bruno Ferreira, PLMJ's managing partner, says that "technology is today both an inevitability and a requirement. Clients expect different ways of working and. for this to be possible. we see digital transformation as a continuous path, cutting across the entire organisation".
The same special article also addresses the relevance of internal and continuous training, accompanied by technology, and Bruno Ferreira also shares his view on this matter: "the firm seeks to provide lawyers and the teams that support them with solutions that free them from more repetitive tasks or that assist them, providing greater security and speed in their work and freeing them to focus on other tasks that add more value". However, he argues this is only possible through the "dissemination and sharing of internal knowledge".
