The PLMJ Foundation organises lecture on: “Curatorship and Art: Current Challenges” in Mozambique by Miguel Amado, curator of the foundation

The PLMJ Foundation, which was created by the law firm PLMJ – A.M. Pereira, Sáragga Leal, Oliveira Martins, Júdice e Associados, based in Lisbon, and with international representation through PLMJ International Legal Network, of which GLM – Gabinete Legal Moçambique is a member, will present a lecture entitled “Curatorship and Art: Current Challenges”, headed by the curator of the PLMJ Foundation collection, Miguel Amado, who is on a visit to Mozambique. The event will take place in partnership with the National Museum of Art and take place today at 6 p.m. at the museum.

Miguel Amado is an art commissioner and critic with vast experience in the international art world. He is the curator of the PLMJ Foundation, which is one of the most important private cultural institutions in Portugal. Among other locations, Miguel Amado has worked in the United Kingdom, New York and Portugal, and has always received great recognition for the work he has done. He is currently the curator for Portugal’s participation in the 55th International Art Exhibition– the Venice Biennale.
