Tozzini lawyer contributes to Iberian Lawyer piece on growth in Brazil.

According to Iberian Lawyer’s March/April 2011 issues, the fact that Brazil is host to the next Olympic Games after London and the next Football World Cup is seen as a window of opportunity and not only from the perspective of sports. According to José Luís de Salles Freire, partner in the Brazilian law firm TozziniFreire, PLMJ partnership in Brazil “the sustained growth of Brazil will, in a way, be inevitable over the coming decade given the increasing number of people that art no longer considered to be close to poverty. Even though inflation is a likely reality it will never reach the levels seen in previous decades”. The partner said there were “many companies that, despite having operated in Brazil for a long time, specifically with offices in São Paulo, are not registered in that country, and this strategy is quite distinct from the one adopted by some newer companies”.
