Through its permanent representation in Portugal, the European Commission has requested the extension until 30 April 2010 of the loan of 5 works of art provided by the PLMJ Foundation to represent Portugal at the Berlaymont building.
This initiative aims to promote new Portuguese artists and show their work and forms part of the corporate social responsibility programme that the PLMJ Foundation is developing and which involves the promotion of the talent of young Portuguese artists.
