Regulation no. 829/2016 of 23 August ("Regulation") has now been published. This Regulation establishes the consolidated rules on the pre-contractual and contractual information to be provided to end-users by companies that offer public communications networks or provide electronic communication services to the public.
The main aim of the new Regulation is to consolidate the rules on provision of information to consumers in relation to communications contracts. It clarifies the minimum content of contracts and standardises the means of providing information to consumers.
