Presidential Decree no. 126/20 of 5 May was published to adjust the rules on import and export procedures and licensing to the current political, economic and social panorama.
The licensing procedures apply to all goods imported into or exported from the customs territory, whether or not they are subject to pre-shipment inspection.
For imports and exports subject to automatic and nonautomatic licensing, the international trade operator must provide the Platform with the information requested by the Ministerial Department responsible for the Trade Sector, AGT and BNA or by another public entity responsible for the matter.
Licence applications continue to be approved within 2 days and licences issued under the new rules become valid for a period of 120 days.
