Until the beginning of 2020, tourism was the sector that mobilised the Portuguese economy and allowed the country onto the international investment radar. As the real estate sector was able to respond, tourism flourished, cities changed their faces, people returned to city centres and offices gained an unprecedented dynamism. The sector that mobilised the national economy will also be the sector that is at the forefront of its recovery. But only if the country knows how to create the conditions for that. The conversation in today's Portuguese language PLMJ Podcast is about what needs to be done in Portugal if want to be at the centre of international investment. José Almeida Guerra is the president of Rockbuilding, the market leader in real estate project management and guest speaker on the PLMJ podcast which also features Andreia Candeias Mousinho, a partner who specialises in urban planning, and Rita Alarcão Júdice, a partner in the Real Estate practice.
