About Mafalda

Mafalda is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice and advises clients from a wide range of sectors on trademark, patent and copyright matters.

She also focuses on intellectual property litigation, in particular claims based on intellectual property rights, and on drafting intellectual property contracts.

Mafalda holds a degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and a postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa

Between 2019 and 2024, she held government posts in the 21st, 22nd and 23rd Governments of the Portuguese Republic, as Assistant to the Secretary of State for Planning, Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Housing, Assistant to the Minister for Infrastructure and Housing and Assistant to the Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs.

As a lawyer, Mafalda was an associate at Yolanda Busse, Oehen Mendes & Associados.
