Sebastião holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto and a master's degree in law and management from Nova School of Business and Economics and Nova School of Law.

Prior to joining PLMJ, Sebastião did short-term internships at SPCA- Advogados, Telles and PLMJ.
