Matilde Álvares Ribeiro

About Matilde

Matilde is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution practice. She focuses on the areas of civil, criminal and administrative offence litigation, and she regularly represents Portuguese and foreign clients in the automotive, textile and pharmaceutical sectors.

Representing clients in civil and criminal cases, Matilde provides support both in and out of court to a range of companies. She also has experience in dealing with insolvency proceedings and corporate restructuring.

Matilde completed a postgraduate course in corporate legal sciences at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and attended a course in international arbitration at the same faculty. She also lectured the course on civil procedure during the second semester of 2020 at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica do Porto.
