About Rita
Rita is a senior associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice. With almost 10 years of professional experience, she has handled various transactions and due diligence processes in the real estate sector. Her main focus is on the Algarve, but she also works throughout the rest of Portugal. Previously, Rita was a member of the litigation team, where she gained extensive experience in complex litigation, particularly in relation to property, construction, commercial and corporate matters. She has worked in a number of jurisdictions.
Rita also works in PLMJ's insurance department.
She completed a postgraduate course in property law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Prior to joining PLMJ, Rita was a lawyer at SPS - Sociedade de Advogados and a member of the Legal and Compliance Department of the insurance company of the Novo Banco Group - GNB - Companhia de Seguros de Vida.
