About Filipa

Filipa is a senior counsel in the Corporate M&A and Private Equity practice and has over 20 years of experience in these areas as well as in banking and finance, in particular project finance. In recent years, she has been involved in the structuring and execution of some of the most significant M&A transactions in Portugal. This includes cross-border deals, particularly in the infrastructure, energy, industrial and technology sectors.

Filipa holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and started her career at PLMJ. She returned to PLMJ in 2025 after working in other law firms such as CS Associados and Uría Menéndez. Most recently, Filipa was Head of M&A at Aon Portugal, where she was responsible for M&A and transactional liability insurance.
