About João

João is an associate in the Corporate M&A practice. He has advised on domestic and international M&A transactions, all stages of venture capital investments and asset sales and purchases. He has also been involved in the definition and implementation of restructuring and reorganisation transactions for groups, the establishment and development of joint ventures, financial transactions and the structuring and implementation of real estate investments. João has also represented clients in corporate disputes.

João holds a law degree from the University of Porto and a master's degree in corporate and business law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He has also completed two postgraduate courses: one in intellectual property law at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa - in association with the APDI - Portuguese Association of Intellectual Property Law - and the other in securities and banking law at the same faculty.
