Nuno is a senior partner in the Dispute Resolution practice and has 35 years of experience. He has worked on numerous cases of great legal complexity and economic significance in commercial and financial matters and has extensive experience in the areas of directors' liability and the automotive industry. In recent years, he has acted for multinational companies and directors in class actions.
As a restructuring and insolvency lawyer, Nuno has been involved in the most complex cross-border insolvency proceedings, representing the main parties involved.
As a representative of the Portuguese Bar Association, Nuno contributed to the drafting of the Portuguese Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code and has played an active role in judicial matters throughout his career.
He is chairman of the board of the Circle of Litigation Lawyers and a member of Insol Europe, Insol International, the International Bar Association and the Portuguese Insolvency Law Association APDIR. Nuno has also written legal articles and participated as a speaker and lecturer in seminars and postgraduate courses on civil procedure and restructuring and insolvency.
